For months there had been nothing but sun beating down. The heat was so harsh that the water was taken up from the land. With the water went the weakest of the land's residents. With the weak being lost at such a rapid pace, the predators soon followed as only the strong were surviving and there was nothing left for them to prey on. After an eternity of torture, the beaten equines felt liquid rush against their backs once again, but the water didn't stop coming. For days the water crashed from the sky in sheets. Rivers and ponds quickly refilled. The ground became saturated until there was no place else for the water to go. It just kept building until finally almost every inch of the lands were under water. There was no place to go to escape the flooding. Eventually, the rain ended. Rain soaked horses lifted their hooves from the mud with great effort and they called out desperately trying to find what was left of their herds, but only the strongest and the smartest were able to survive.
Note from Bay: This plot is so we can start over without creating all new horses or losing what we'd done before. If you want to keep a horse, great, they've survived. If you're not playing one any more, then they've died or left in the flood. All predators were killed or forced away because Dark Magic and I decided to get rid of them. New charactors are obviously allowed, but we'd prefer that you not totally start over with a horse that you previously played here, just to keep things simple. Thanks, Bay.100
